llWhy an incentive in the Alps ?
Skiing and other local activities are excellent vectors for fun and communication.
From beginners to experienced skiiers, everyone will find tearing down the slopes exciting and exhilirating.
Ski resorts are rather prestigeous and will reflect the image of prestige onto your seminar. The message you wish to bring across to your participants will inevitably be better perceived.
Alpine ski resorts are ideally situated. They are very easily accesible: by air (Lyon, Geneva, Chambéry, Grenoble) and by train, direct from Paris or London (Moûtiers, Aime and Bourg St Maurice train stations).
Numerous resorts are equiped for hosting seminars, in terms of top class hotels, convention centres, sports and activities for both skiers and non-skiers.

llWhere and when
The resort you choose for your incentve will depend on several criteria: your budget, your target (internal, external, number of skiers and non-skiers,

desired activities), the length of your stay and the amount of time designated to work.
School holiday periods would rather be avoided (for reasons of cost and availability). The most favourable periods would be the beginning of December, then January and March. April is an equally good time of the season, even though the Easter holidays fall over this period.
Some activities are more attractive and pleasant at certain periods of the season, depending on the weather conditions (in April, days are longer and warmer: all outdoor activities are recommended. In January the Bobsleigh piste and open-air ice-rink are perfect options.)
